Congratulations to Kazuma Hara (D1)! He was awarded the "Best Poster Award for Student" for his poster presentation at The 8th International Symposium on Organic Molecular Electronics (ISOME 2014) held at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology （May 14-15, 2014).

　

Prof. Toemsak Srikhirin (Mahidol University, Thailand) gave a seminar on
"The Applications of protein array technology" (May 12,2014)

Dr. Kontad Ounnunkad (Lecturer, Chiang Mai University) gave a seminar on "Improvement of electrochemical detection by molecularly imprinted conducting polymers" (April 11,2014)

We welcome 15 undergraduate students to the group. (April 8, 2014)

We welcome Dr. Rapiphun Janmanee (Lecturer, Pibulsongkram Rajaphat University) to the group, who joins us as a guest researcher for 3 months. (April 7, 2014)

Japan-Thailand Joint Symposium on Advanced Nanomaterials and Devices for Electronics and Photonics (JT-AND2014) was held in Thailand (Jan. 13-14, 2014, Chair: Prof. Kato, Secretary General: Assoc. Prof. Baba : http://nano-ed.eng.niigata-u.ac.jp/JT-AND2014/).
Profs. Kato and Baba presented talks in the conference.

A farewell party was held for Kaew (D2, DDP with Chulalongkorn U.) (Nov. 22, 2013). He will be leaving for Thailand at the end of this month.
